There is a muzzleloading rifle /shotgun combo for sale locally that I'm really interested in.

I'm interested in it mostly because of its looks and possible history, but could see at some point casting some bullets for it and shooting were it safe.

The thing is I know nothing about these. It's listed for $475 which is more than I want to spend on it for no potential return. So I thought I'd see if anyone here can tell me anything about it based off the few details in the listing.

The listing is here: Link

I love em in theory... but it's a mystery gun with no information, no idea of age and bad pictures.

I might be tempted in person, but I don't think I'd jump online.

Thanks.

I could go see it, but don’t really know what I’m looking for.

For $100 I’d take a chance, but for almost $500 I need to do a little research first.

Are these rifle shotgun combos rare?
