I’m looking into one of these to add to my Hog Hunting Arsenal. Anyone got any feedback on this model? Thanks all in advance!

Good, Solid Gun. For me, I prefer the Marlin. I like the safety placement and it just fits me better. YMMV.

I have one - a solid weapon but I prefer my 6.8spc for hogs.
Much better range with a rifle.
YMMV

I've had one from about 1996 or so...used to carry it as a duty shotgun. What's there to say really? It's an 870 with a factory finish that helps protect the gun. It's as reliable as you are. The only upgrade I did was to install ghost ring sights and a Surefire light fore end.

Great guns. Came with better recoil pad before it was fashionable, finish holds up and helps make the action feel smooth.

I don't know about hog hunting, but mine has survived a very long time on a boat.

Yup, I us one as a boat/camp gun. I do t take particularly good care of it but it still looks and functions with absolutely no issues.

Have had one since the early 90's. I've put it through all kinds of stuff except duty use. I've banged it around from the ocean to the mountains, just tossed it in the trunk, left it behind the back door and forgot about it one winter. I am a dyed in the wool 870 fan, and this is my favorite.

One of a few guns I really wish I hadn't had to sell.
If you get one I hope you hang on to it.

I have mine set up the same way with ghost ring nite sights and fore end Surefire light, also a Magpul stock, Mesa tactical ammo saddle, and Specter Gear tactical sling. I have been through several instructor courses and teach defensive shotgun with it and it is my home defense gun. They are absolutely dependable, learn how to run it.
