Congratulations you've just been shot, it really was a bad person. Hope you have a trauma kit.

You could've avoided this if you have a light on your carbine. We'll be sure to put that on your tombstone.

Like this one hanging off the left rail...

Or should I blind the prep with a handheld E2D
then shoot him with this:

Hmmmm, I still like the light switch better...

Like hell, with my four big dogs I wouldn't be able to hear shit. On the other hand they will probably give me a clue as to the BG's location.
I wil arrive behind them with my AK with a red dot and flashlight attached. The red dot will be on and my thumb will be on the pressure switch for the light.[/QUOTE]

"What do you turn on?" Heh, heh. I kept waiting for some to answer, "My Doberman."

I turn on my cell phone and call 911. Then the outside flood lights if the motion detectors did not go off. Then I stay with the wife on the phone with 911 so we are not shot by the police. I doubt if anyone will get through the "layers" to get inside.
If I used any light it would be a M6 Surefire or the light from the end of a discharging Wilson Combat 870.

red dot....my home is very dark except for some light in front of house...i dont want to impact my night vision with turning on other lights whether mounted or not...nor do I want to identify my position to any bad guys.
Additionally, the little night lights I have at top of stairs, by front door and downstairs....highlights anyone coming into door or up the stairs while my room remains black dark so they will be silhouetted against my doorway and framed in hallway long before they can see me behind the bed waiting while wife is in master bath walk in closet calling 911.

I dont keep an AR for home defense either though...mine is for zombies, hurricane thugs that want to loot, or if the Chinese and Russians ever come to try and repo everything in America from nonpayment on loans they gave our Govt. Big Grin
