Has anyone here ever used Columbus Machine Works for Garand Op rod work ? They seem to be one of the only shops left that work on them . I have one that I need to send off and just looking for feedback .

Sorry. No I haven’t heard anything about them. You may want to check the CMP forum. I am sure that there will be something about them in the Garand section.

They are GTG based on personal experience.

JP Precision in AL does/did them too, also GTG based on personal experience.

CMP also does op-rod exchanges.

What is wrong with your op rod?

I've had it for so long I have to really think about it . I think the tab is worn .
