I second that, what the hell? Did they just run out of storage space or something?

Good. I hope this destroys the overpriced WASR's that went from $299 to $800 because of the obamatax.

Those are already going for $380 now, so that bubble has almost burst.

They're still way over $600 here.

When they hit $300, I'll pick one up like I did with my PSL-54.

Izhevsk is the Russian plant that's built AKMs and AK-47s forever. Close as you'll get to a brand new Russian AKM.

Of course, parts have been swapped out with US parts by Arsenal, so it's not exact. IIRC, trigger group, stock, hand guards, pistol grip, front sight and muzzle brake are US.

Classic Arms in NC is having ONE DAY sales, on various AK's all of November. Todays AK 47 was all of $349!!!

I bought one of the KVars last week. For $505 I got a quality Russian build, a NATO length buttstock and plum furniture. HELL of a deal for $505.

Anyone looking for an AK .... NOW is the time.

I HEAR YA! That made me sooo mad. People selling a 299 rifle for 800 pfft! I just bought me a Wood vertical pistol grip for my new romy. I had to refinish it to match though. Will show it of when it dries. But that russian parts kit is a deal. Good score sir!

Yup, last WASR10 I bought was $320 plus shipping, not too long ago. (1.5 years)?

Three years ago WASR2's were $289.95...

Yeah...been out of hand here lately. That $499 AIM Surplus 74 is what started this whole mess. Then I ordered a 74S side folder and the KVar deal came up for an 7.62x47 and I couldn't pass that up either.

I'm so WEAK. But in my defense I did get a hell of a deal on the Yugo 67 ammo from J&G.I'd ordered 5.45 and they sent 7.62 by mistake. Ended up getting one case of the Yugo 67 for a total of $175. Hence the newfound interest in a traditional 7.62x39 AK.
