Where can one purchase .380 FMJ ammo? Looking for some for training in my P230.

Anyone know a source for .380 ammo? all the usual online sources appear to be out.

Checked walmart and every store within 250 miles (according to a computer search) is out.

Are you desperate enough to pay $35/bx?

I went to http://www.ammoengine.com/ which sent me to

http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/AMM318-5.html

which shows S&B FMJ at $35/50.

I was in Ft. Wayne, IN last week and H&H Firearms (260-496-9790) had 100 round value packs of WWB for $35.00 which I thought was a good price. I recently sold my P230 or I would have bought 1000 rounds.

Good Luck,

Mark

Wow! I just bought 2 boxes of PMC Bronze for $30/50 and was glad to find some. It was my overpriced gun store, but online retailers are out everywhere.

http://sigforum.com/eve/forums...50601935/m/989104291 Don't know if it's good deal or not? Just passin' it along.

Any thoughts on why everyone is out? Making other calibers due to demand? Lots of new gun buyers went 380 becasue of it being a first gun? Slick salesmen? There has to be some darned reason aside from the guv'ment buying it all up, huh? IF they did that, someone would leak the info to a tabloid in return for money! I would! Smile

I was at my local Farm & Fleet today and decided to check out the ammo shelves over in sporting goods. Only 2 boxes of Rem UMC 85gr MC 380 sitting on the barren shelves. Price was $15.99 so I took both boxes.

I don't know where you are at but I saw a bunch at the Outpost gunshop south of Nashville yesterday. I didn't check prices because I don't own a .380.

Your location would help people know where to tell you to look. I know you are looking for online sources but you may have better luck at local places.

I was at Dicks Sporting goods Sat. night and saw some on the shelf. I think it was UMC Mega Packs of 250. I don't shoot 380 so I took a passing interest when I saw it.
