Wolf runs great in my AK, and it's really cheap. I'm using my entire "stimulus" check on ammo.
at ammoman all the wolf is the cheapest and since it runs well in my AK I'm wondering if it will run fine in my Sigs, HKs, and my m4. ___________________________________ Louis: "We made it.... I can't believe we made it!" Bill: "Son, we just crossed the street." |

Wolf .223 is the most inaccurate crap I shoot. But I shoot it. I've never tried the handgun stuff (yet)

My buddy runs nothing but Wolf in his 228. He has never had any problems.

I've shot close to 1k rounds of the Wolf Military classic polymer ammo out of my Bushmaster M4. No malfunctions, no jams, no FTF's, no FTE's, no short stroking, etc. While no "target" ammo, the accuracy has been very acceptable. Good range and plinking ammo.

I'm more worried about reliability than accuracy. as long as I can hit a paper plate at 100 yards with the m4(armalite m15a4c) I'll be okay with that since the ammo is so cheap.

Shot 500 rounds of .45 through various 1911s with no problems what so ever. Other than being a little on the dirty side it worked fine.

I ran 500 rounds of the laquer-sealed wolf MC 9mm through my P228. It definitely shoots pretty dirty, and the primer sealer will leave a nice bit of gunk in your gun. If you're aware of this, and clean it well, it won't be a problem.

I have shot hundreds of rounds in 9mm, .45, .40 and .223 with few problems. Yes, it is dirty and the patterning is a bit loose (compared to Remington/Winchester highend ammo) - but its not bad, especially for the cost. Their .223 shoots a nice 6 inch or less pattern at 100 yards...good enough for zombies

Their ammo is fine except for in .223...
worst .223 round ever. This is a group of Wolf MC fired at about 100yds from my M4 using nothing but open sights and leaning across the hood of my car.

Spectre and I were popping a 12x18 steel plate at 300 yards with my RRA NM A4 using Wolf 223.
It's accurate enough. Did it produce the 1/8-1/4 MOA groups like the Hornaday 75gr or Black Hills 69gr....No, but, it was also 1/5 the cost. ___________________________________________________________________ Prayer of The Citadel Give me a boy, Oh God, who is willing to learn the true value of honor, the necessity of perseverance and loyalty, and the meaningfulness of devotion to God and country. I've probably put 3000 rounds of it through my AR.
NO problems at all. My only complaint. You can't reload it!   So this is how liberty dies... with thunderous applause. |

Shot a 1000 rounds of their 45. All worked but it does get a little dirty. Love their rifle ammo.

I was just wondering. to be honest, wolf is the only ammo I've used in the last 9 years for plinking. I figured it wasnt as good as brass but I never keep a gun very long any way. Im going to start shooting brass .223 so I can start reloading.
