My Spike's Tactical upper ONLY likes the Fed bulk 550 22lr. I haven't been able to find any for the past month or two. My wife was even in Virginia last weekend, and they didn't have any there either.


Anyone know what's going on?

My Wallyworld has some. I humbly suggest you send that upper to my home so that it can be fed a proper diet!

I've visited 3 walmarts in the last month or so and they all had it

I hope not, I like my 550 bulk packs.

My walmart had a shelf full earlier this week, I ussually buy the golden bullet packs (About $2.50 per box cheaper) but they did not have any of those strangely enough.

Mine has it.
Now for $14.
It's probably for price increases.

Spent the day at the state fair, then went ammo hunting at a couple of Walmarts. Found 35 boxes. They all went home with me.

Neither of my local Wal-Marts has had any in stock since they raised the price a month or so ago.

went to Walmart at lunch today and got 5 of the 333 packs. I asked the laady behind the counter why they didnt have the Remington 550 packs anymore...

I was kinda embaressaed a little when she showed me where they were.

Rather than keeping all of them together by caliber like they used to, they rearranged the cases by brand. So now the Remingtons are hidden on the top shelf on the opposite side from where they were. Oh well....they still have em. That's good!

still got them at our wally world

talk to the sporting good manager at one of the wally worlds next to my house (i have 4 in a 8 mile radius) and they said all wall worlds can order them.

maybe your local one just don't want to....talk the the sporting good manager

I saw it at mine this AM. If you go back and do a search, there was a guy here who had I believe approx 192k rounds of the stuff.

Good Lord! I bought 2 550 boxes about 2 months ago and I still have about 3/4ths of the first box, second one hasn't been opened.

That's probably just a shell, with the core empty.

But seriously, the Federal and the Remington both shoot good for me. Our Walmart still has them.

For the shotshells, I've gone to only buying Remington STS or Game Loads at WalMart, as they are the cheapest, sometimes availability is spotty so I usually buy all they have.
