What were they charging for the 147's?

My walmart in CT hasn't had ammo in months.
I stopped yesterday, and they had two 50-round boxes of WWB .40 on the shelf (not the 100rd value pack). The guy said they got a shipment of ammo in the morning, only a small handful of WWB - and all 50rd boxes.
I don't shoot .40 so I asked when 9mm was coming in, and he said they get an ammo shipment once per month...

I went to my local W/M at 7am and there was no one waiting and no ammo on the shelf.

I got lucks at my two local Wal-Marts. On Tues and Wed, I hit the two WM in my area. First time I had found 9mm on the shelves in at least 8 months.
I bought seven 100 round packs of the Win White Box 9mm for $21.97 each ($11.00 per 50).
I bought a combined total of 27 boxes of Federal 9mm. At the one store it is $9.47 a box and $9.97 a box at the other.
There is 40 and 45 ACP ammo on the shelves at both stores.
Seems no one but me has been buying any 9mm over the last three days.
I went in to both stores before going to work and plan on hitting them later after work.

I went to three WM's today. No ammo on any shelf (pistol/revolver). I asked each so-called manager, "What's the best day, time to come and camp out waiting for delivery?" Each one said the same thing; not quite word for word, but close: "I don't know. I never see it come in. It hits the warehouse and they decide who gets it. We may not get any until next year." Funny all three mentioned, "...next year..."? They almost acted, "dumbed-down". I can't believe the 'manager' of a department wouldn't know the DAY he receives delivery - ammo or not. It really sounded like a script. New Mexico usually has box upon box of ammo - but now that I see it hitting around the country (other states) - it's dried up here.

Local WM supply is getting better. They were remodeling and shifting the entire store for more than 4 months. Left the outdoors section in a mess for a long time. Finally have seen 40 and 9 in a regular way but no 45 or 380 at all. The counter guy I spoke with (been there about 10 years) did tell me that it was WM safety policy that only the gun guys were allowed to actually place the ammo in the locked case. He reiterated the early morning deal. Maybe the stock boys were light fingered? Hope not. The Academy stores here had lots of empty shelves even for shotshells, the local Cabelas too (limit of 2 mostly). This is the DFW Texas area.

I have put about 1500 rounds of 40 S&W Blazer BRASS (180 grain) through my p229dak and haven't had any problems with it. I recommend it highly.

Yesterday morning I left for work early and stopped by 2 WalMart locations. I was looking for 9mm. Both were pretty dry (plenty of .223). Did the same thing today, 1st stop was same as yesterday, but the 2nd stop had 300 rounds of WWB.
