Just got back from Gander Mountain - almost spit out my drink when I say the Winchester White Box .45 230gr fmj 100 rds value pack for $49.95
 Who are their target customers? Bill Gates? Who are they trying to fool? The same exact box can be had at Walmart for $29.88. For that savings I don't care if I have to stand behind Bin Laden at Walmart .... geezzzz... This message has been edited. In Virginia, Gander Mountain Ammo prices are the highest. Not even worth going into the store as gun and ammo prices are over the top.

Never price anything at Gander unless you have a pacemaker installed.
Occassionally you will find Blazer Brass 9mm at a reasonable price. They had a Winchester Mod 94 in 32 special that I saw there (and fell in love with, my dad had one). The price was about $1100. My wife said she heard the "Damn!" all the way across the store. |

I did get a decent deal on a used HK Expert 45 about a year ago. I did have to haggle abit and open a Gander credit card to get another 5% discount to make the deal work.

Try $28 for Remington Golden Bullet. I laughed. They have really gone downhill in the few years they have been in the columbus market. Sometimes they have an ok price on a gun, sometimes.

They're good for some rare ammo types, and they always seem to have .40 winchester ranger for under $15 a box...

Gander Mountain is a ripoff on everything. Once in a while you might see a Beretta Neo or Used P1 on sale but for everything else forget about it. Oh yeah they even have their employee brainwashed.
