I just got the new Shotgun News today and SAMCO has 9mm surplus for $99.50 for 500, $248.75 for 1250, or 472.50 for 2500. It is made by P.O.F.

I have had very good luck with POF .308 surplus. Samco is local to me so I might have to pick some of this up.

The only problem is that for $30-40 more per thousand I can have new factory reloadable ammo. I wish this was just a bit cheaper to really make it worth it.

I think it is overpriced for Pakistani, 1970's vintage 9mm ammo.

I shoot some pakistani 1967-69 vintage .303 and a fair number of the rounds are hangfires.

I'd hold out for something better (i.e, current American production).

What are they charging for shipping on the 2500 round crates?

Just checked their site. It stated they will not give a shipping price until after payment is entered.

If the cost is so high they can't tell you what shipping will be maybe it is too much for me to consider.

The price difference is only $34 less then buying at the local Walmart when getting a crate of 2500 rounds. The nice thing would have been getting quantity. WM still won't sell more the 6 boxes per person per day here. That is a lot of trips. I guess I will have to stay with WM for now. I've only been going once or twice a week lately and the reserve stock is getting lower.

I was able to get 300 rounds of Winchester 9mm at Walmart this past weekend. First time I had seen 9mm there in quite a while.
