rhg84, Thanks for the heads up. I just ran by there and picked up a case of Blazer 9mm. I asked them about the .22 game shock and they told me the game shock wasn't on sale but the .40gr high velocity Federal Lightning, so I got just one box of that. Everyone reading this . . . . Academy offered this pricing in a three day flyer that was good, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. So, tommorrow is the last day and they're running low in most stores, at least here in the DFW area. The guy working the ammo was surprised he had to ask his supervisor and he said he had just changed the price that day(yesterday). It still rang up at 29.99 and the guy at the register had to call to do the override. Maybe the guy marked down the wrong one? Because the game shock is 40 grain too |

Hi, I am a newbie. I just ordered my SigPro 9mm. So would this be the ammo I should get for the range? Should I get anything different for basic HD?

This ammo should run great through your Sig, and won't break the bank. Its always best to test each type of ammo first before buying a large amount. Buy a few boxes at a local store first and give it a try. As far as HD, Speer Gold Dots are a great choice. Natchezss has just reduced the price further to $7.49 per box of CCI Blazer 9mm. The .45 is 11.99 a box which seems a fair price too.

I been using this stuff for awhile now with no problems. Put about 1000 rounds through my P226 in two day a few months ago and shoot it in local IDPA matches. May have to pick up some more.
