I ordered some more on the 23rd. Shipped on the 26th. Will be delivered on the 29th.

That's 4 business days from order to delivery. Sounds like PSA has their shipping issues worked out.

I'm not good at math, but $299 plus $14 shipping seems like a good deal for 500 rds of 55gr Gold Dots:

Edited to add: SG is $.60/rd by the case, PSA is $.50/rd by the box.

Yeah, SGAmmo's deal would normally be a good price, if PSA's deal wasn't around.

But as it is, there's no reason not to go with PSA. Especially with them offering free shipping every few weeks too.

Here's 55gr at $235/case of 500. That's $.47/rd, but shipping is not included.

I'm a bit late to this discussion, but I caught the sale back in the spring and ordered 200 rounds of 64gr 24448 (price had gone up to $10.99 but was still a great deal). What I don't get is that a year ago, everyone was saying that Speer had discontinued 24448, and they were switching to a 62gr round (which showed up about 9 month ago). 24448 was sold out everywhere except for people selling it for $1+/round on GunBroker. Then the 64gr rounds showed up again suddenly and are still available some places. I wonder if they had an agency order and ran some extra, or maybe someone canceled on them. Either way, I'm glad I was able to get more of this great ammo.

Dave

I am a guy who said it is irresponsible to shoot a deer with a .223. Repeatedly.
Last week I took my BDL Varmint Classic to a friend's property to shoot coyotes during deer season and was sitting with said friend when a doe walked out at about 60 yards. He had a tag and asked me to shoot it. An upper neck shot with this round completely destroyed the vertebrae and the deer instantly dropped, never to move on its own again. The exit wound was larger than I expected.

I saw the email ad from PSA and really want to order some more, but I've been exceeding the budget lately with all these holiday sales. I'm still wondering if the 64gr 24448 is back in regular production, or if this is some kind of anomaly since they said they were discontinuing it. I guess I should probably buy some more just to be safe...

It's still there. I just ordered 10 boxes of the 64 gr. I saw both 55 gr and 64 gr as in stock.

Did PSA grab all the Gold Dot ammo? This seems to be a permanent sale.

I just grabbed four boxes of 64gr to try it out.

I'm kinda wondering if I should've bought more of it.

Is there a major difference between the 75gr and 64gr performance for HD with a 16" barrel?

The 75gr is currently out of stock, so should I bother waiting for it or just jump on the 64gr?
Thanks-

Yes, but as drew noted they keep offering more and more. Often with free shipping for ten boxes!
