Wanted to share with my fellow SIGForumites...

Checked just a short while ago and noticed it was listed in stock. Since I've used PMC ammo before and it has always been perfectly reliable and accurate in my pistols and rifles, I placed an order for some.

The boxes of 50 rounds are listed at $11.37 for regular customers and $10.80 for Buyer's Club members. Fortunely I'm a member and got the lower price which is reasonable given the price and availability of ammo right now. Oh, and you can also use the 4 pay plan to stretch out the cost if your purchase is over $150.

If you use one of the $10 off for orders over $99 coupons (do a quick search), it helps out to make the shipping very reasonable too.

It sure beats having to search for reasonable ammo locally!

Ordered a case, thanks!

That's a good price right now on brass cased ammo to be sure!

I just ordered 1000 rounds and joined the buyers club...also used the 10 dollar off coupon code so it was worth joining and free freight...

I just hope they actually have stock...any feedback on the service from Sportmans Guide...I may have bought from them in the past but it's been a long time.

Thanks for the heads up...ammo is a bitch to find at a decent price.

They have historically been pretty good about their stock and indicating when they are out. Their service has always been very good IMHO and experience. Not always the lowest prices on everything, but they do have good deals from time to time and they typically ship instock items either same day or within 24 hours depending on what time/day you order. Being a Buyer's Club member pretty much pays for itself too.

I agree

29 bucks to join...I used the 10 dollar on line coupon and they gave me 17 dollars worth of
freight.. and discounted the ammo.

no brainer

Well, that didn't last long...out of stock already but I figured as much. lol

Any orders placed should be processing as long as you don't receive a backorder e-mail.

Hope I at least helped a few of you grab some lead!

You can also check your order status to make sure it is processing by pressing on the Order Status link at the top or bottom of their home page.

I confirmed mine is on the way!

What burns me about them is you have to get to the shopping cart to see if it's out....you can never trust the 1st page.

Overall I think they are second rate....but I too joined last year....and made up for my "joining fee" in the first 3 months on ammo pricing....then the crunch came. they have been adequate for shipping times for me. I'm just not impressed with their 80% of their gear selection elsewise.

How slow is Sportsmanguide's shipping?

Ordered Sunday evening and the UPS tracking # they e-mailed me still just shows "Billing Info Received"...

They normally ship more quickly but with the ammo situation the way it is, I'm sure they had to confirm quantities before processing the influx of orders they received over the weekend along with any backorders they already had for that particular ammo. My order actually shipped out 10/1 with tracking number already given so I'm sure they did have to confirm stock quantities after filling backorders.

I spoke to them on Monday because I saw that they were still processing my order and they told me they had looked into the heavy/bulk item charge for my order but found it was not necessary (I ordered less than a full case). My order was released at that point and continued processing until I received my update e-mail yesterday evening.

Are they still doing the thing where sometimes the price on the receipt in the box doesn't match the price on your order confirmation e-mail?

FWIW, I ordered a case of ammo from Copes the same day and it arrived yesterday...

Copes shipping is cheap and fast!

I've never had that happen to me.

Then again, I'm not saying they are the best resource out there for anything specific. Just occasionally you can find good deals on things ranging from ammo to sporting goods to even household items, but it takes some browsing of their catalogs and website.

I'm just glad to have been able to pick up some 9mm ammo from them at a decent price!
