Congratulations. All I got yesterday was an e-mail with a new date for shipping my 380....

Ordered some .45ACP Winchester Silvertips on July 1st and they're still backordered.

I too canceled some back orders on ammo. going to make my own. It's not just Cabelas, everybody's sold out due to panic buying because of Obama. Fears about new gun control regulations. Hogwash. Things will get back to normal where you don't have to pay 35.00 for 500 primers.

Update - Received my backordered Winchester Silvertips 7/26, so 25 days from the date of my order.

Read this carefully. Sooner or later, Cabella's will fill your back order. The trick is to wait until they have $5.00 shipping on orders over $150. Order your ammo then, and the worst that will happen is they will add $8.00 to your shipping for heavy items. So when order finally comes in, you get it with cheap shipping and no sales tax, if you live in a state with no Cabella's stores.

I haven't had problems with back orders from Cabalas. I have my stock of ammo and I am in not a hurry to get it other than to replace what I shoot. I just wait a few weeks, and then my ammo is at my front door without leaving the house.

Firearm components from manufacture; totally different story. I have been waiting a crazy amount of time for simple parts; still no big deal as it is a spare rifle and a build in progress.

Cabellas just shipped me 2,000 rounds of Winchester .45 ACP FMJ I ordered back on July 13. Per UPS, it will arrive in two days.

Mine was delivered last week.

I have orders in from late MAY that still have not been filled. Every few weeks after the estimated countdown gets near it starts all over again.

Mine is from April, but it's 380 XTP and I realize that's scarce. Thanks to another member, I got some from ATG.

I placed an order back in June for some rifle and pistol ammo. I got the rifle in like 4 days which rocked. I just got HALF of the pistol ammo yesterday with no notice of how long the rest would be on back order. Last time I ordered a back ordered item I received it in less than a week. It is only Win .40 in the 100 rounds box. Not looking for bear hunting .357 ammo or anything off the wall like that

The 2,000 rounds of .45 showed up yesterday, along with another 1,000 rounds of .45 ACP FMJ that I ordered on July 20. My cup runneth over...

10mm backorder canceled

I order .380 back in March, last week they sent it to the wrong address so now I'm not getting it. They refunded my money. I give up.

Delivery of 223 was 2 weeks..

Still no 380 XTP (ordered in April), but today I got an e-mail slipping the ship date to 15 Nov. It listed the last four of my credit card and reminded me I got a new card! Same company, but a new expirition date. I'l call them tomororw to provide the new date, as I'd hate to mess up the shipment after waiting this long.

I've canceled my last two orders when after weeks and weeks, they went from "Backordered 1-2 Weeks" to just plain "Backordered", which to me might as well mean "never"

I gave up on Cabelas myself - even after using all those fancy coupon codes and Cabelas Bucks. I had orders with up to $75 rebates. I cancelled all my orders (back to late May) except one, kept one just for giggles I guess.
