Permissions Needed?
In trying to send an e-mail to another member, when I tried to look up his address in the directory was told "You have not been given the permission(s) to access this page."

What do I need to do to resolve this. Thanks.

We no longer have access to the directory.

Evidently there was some sort of abuse, so directory access got locked down.

While logged in view their public profile. There might be an email address there.

To piggy back on this discussion, how do I view someone’s public profile?

<<<<<<<<<<< Click on their name to the upper left of their post. Then select "View XXXXX's Public Profile" from that drop down menu.

Thanks, actually trying to find one of their posts has been an adventure.

This is supposed to be an easier way to Search Sigforum. Might help.

The forum software makes that fairly easy, if you know where/how to look.

If you're signed in, you can click on the author's name in bold on the left of a post they've made, and a popup shows up that has the option 'View Recent Posts by ____'

Hope that helps.

You can also click on their post count & it'll go to their recent posts.
