Gents, I'd like to have my profile here on SigForum deleted. I'm no longer active on the site and am looking to clean up my internet clutter.

I'd be obliged if that's something we could handle. Thanks in advance.

I joined Sigforum after you. I know they don't delete accounts. Any posts you make gets pruned past a certain amount of time. Although I know once you post on the internet, it's there forever but that's not just on Sigforum.

You've had all of 11 posts, I don't think that even adds up to half a dust mote in terms of cleaning up any clutter.

Log out (near upper-right corner). Delete any sigforum.com cookies in any browsers you've used. Delete any saved password/login credentials you have for sigforum. In a couple years (I think it is?) this last post of yours will have been auto-pruned.

Done.

Agreed. I am also currently trying to clean up "internet clutter" just like OP is, just elsewhere. It's always good to have the option if it is ever needed.

If you have old accounts somewhere, that have credit card or other vital information attached, I could perhaps see the value in making sure such an account was deleted. Say.. if you stop using Amazon.

Not deleting accounts is done for a variety of reasons, and if you never want to use this site again, just don't.

We aren't TJ Max, Equifax, or any of that.
