When I login, I now get this message before I login.

“This connection is not secure. Logins entered here could be compromised” .

Apparently, this is a new feature of Firefox 52.0 and newer. Makes me a tad bit nervous.

Should I have been nervous for the last 7 years plus that I’ve been a member here?

Firefox is doing that everywhere.

Do this to get rid of it:

go to address bar and type in

about:config

click I accept the risk!

search SECURE

under

security.insecure_field_warning.contextual.enabled

and set to false

That's a Hell of a lot simpler than calling in snake and nape and toasting your own men.

If you follow the link in the warning you get a Firefox page that explains what it is. Any site that does not start with “https” is an unsecure site. I went to a bunch of forums, many I do not visit anymore, just to see which were and were not secure, Some use the https and some do not. I’ve been into about:config before, and I may do that. I really had no idea about this. I’ve always assumed that my login was secure.

I don't need wingspar's CC number. Last time he logged into the forum I snagged that puppy.

And nobody was none the wiser...

wingspar, don't forget, you got a payment due. I wouldn't want your Visa to cut me off.
