Howdy,

I'm a tad perturbed by the untimeliness of a seller who offered P226 mags for sale in the classified section (see here: WTS Ad For P226 Mags). Furthermore, I'm a little surprised and irritated that none of the mods have seen fit to acknowledge my email messages regarding this issue.

The seller has indicated that he's been "busy" and I'll take him at his word on that point ... well, I'm busy too (hell, we're all busy), and don't like being made to wait for gear that he received payment for two weeks ago. Am I missing something here?

Just so I'm clearly understood, I'm not interested in any sort of recriminations, name-calling or other nonsense like that ... I just want some sort of official acknowledgment from the SIG Forum management.

Please advise,
-BK

Consider yourself "acknowledged". I know I never received any email from you.

O.K.

Chris, is your email address Xdezracer@msn.com? If so, I emailed you regarding this situation last weekend.

As I said previously, I'm simply trying to get this vexing circumstance squared-away.

Aw, I feel left out.

We do the best we can, my friend. Sometimes, patience is a virtue.

At least we haven't outsourced to India.

Arc.

Mike:

That last time you emailed me, you seemed to be satisifed that the seller was out of town and his friend had failed to send the magazines, but that he would send them.

I have your email and I did not see an immediate request for action. I took it as "looks bad, will get back to you if I don't get my mags." Again, that was the last communication I received.

Thanks for the reply, LDD ... I appreciate it, good buddy.

Yes, in my previous email to you, I did have a better feeling about the deal, at that time. This was because earlier in the day that you received my message (19SEP09), the seller and I had spoken, and he apologized for his untimeliness and assured me that everything was good-to-go. Furthermore, he emailed me this past Tuesday (22SEP09), and indicated that his "buddy" had shipped the mags on his behalf ... I haven't received anything thus far (we're both in Texas, so even a USPS First Class package should have arrived within 2-3 days ... my money order arrived to the seller's address via USPS in two days), and the seller has not responded to my follow-up email of Friday, 25SEP09.

In sum, it's been two weeks since the seller received my payment, and I still have not received my mags. At the very least, I figured that you, and your colleagues ought to be aware of this situation (whether or not you intend to follow up with the seller). I cannot say for sure what's really going on here, all I know for certain is that I fulfilled my end of the bargain two weeks ago and have nothing to show for it.

Best,
-BK

Mods:

My mags arrived today from Dylan889 ... four P226 dovetail mags as agreed, and all appear to be in solid condition.

Thank you for your attention.

Best,
-BK
