Note this class is scheduled for Sept. 2017.

We have a great opportunity to offer a Practical Fundamentals class near Atlantic City, so we’re jumping on it. Additional information will be posted soon.

If you have experience working from a holster, and have good gun-handling skills, you meet the pre-requisites for this class. If you’ve taken OpSpec Training’s Intro to Practical Fundamentals, Practical Fundamentals or competed in USPSA, IDPA or 3-Gun matches you also meet the pre-requisites for this class.

Practical Fundamentals
Using a building-block approach, Practical Fundamentals encourages students to focus on the process of running the gun, tamping down the emotional desire to see results on the target. By using a variety of dry fire and live fire exercises, students are brought through the fundamentals of marksmanship with a focus on trigger control to help the shooter make fast hits on small targets, on demand.

Where:
Atlantic County Fireams Training Facility
175 Betsy Scull Road
Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey

Where to Stay
Contact Us.

Food at Lunch Break
There will be food options for the lunch break located less than 15 minutes away. Additional details coming soon.

Instructors*: Jerry Jones & HR Hawkins

When: Sept. 18 & 19, 2017, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Class size: Limited to 24 students, with a minimum of 10 to 12 students.

Tuition: $450
A $225 deposit holds your spot in class with the balance due one month prior to the class start date.

Range Fees: Range fees for this program will be included in the cost of the class.

Local Host: Gary Jones

Ammunition: Round count for Practical Fundamentals will be approximately 750 - 850 rounds

Important Links and Information

* Instructors listed for specific programs have committed to teach the class on those dates. Although we do not anticipate changes, travel delays, family emergencies or illness may result in instructor substitutions.

Evil exists. You can not negotiate with, bribe or placate evil. You're not going to be able to have it sit down with Dr. Phil for an anger management session either.

Any concerns about bringing 10+ round magazines to NJ? Definitely don't bring a single hollow point bullet!

Bruce

Hanlon's Razor /prov./ A corollary of Finagle's Law, similar to Occam's Razor, that reads "Never attribute to malice that which can be adequately explained by stupidity."

As always check with applicable laws. I am not a lawyer. The NJ State Police firearms Unit is the go to.

Mag limit is 15
HP are fine if they stay in you trunk to and from residence to range.
All weapons must be transported empty in your trunk bagged or locked so as to prevent immediate access.

You can have magazines up to 15 rounds capacity. When traveling, have all firearms and magazines unloaded, have the firearms in a LOCKED case in the trunk (or what is considered the "luggage compartment" in some trucks/SUV's), have the ammunition in a separate container than the firearms and the ammunition container should also be locked and in the trunk of the car.
