If you didn't make it to El Cajon for the Gray/Lee/Jones Shoot Fest you should be kick'n yourself down the block right about now! I'm sure all of us who attended Friday's class will agree, we all owe Mayer Tenenhaus a "ginormous" at-a-boy for setting this event up! He and The Gray Gun's Team are doing a tremendous job! (I truly regret I wasn't able to stay for the entire weekend.) But from what I experienced on Friday, I'll be a repeat student! When I get all the pic.'s from Beki and Bruce, I'll post a link and a more comprehensive review.

But in a nutshell; Great comrades in arms, expert and patient instruction, and a terrific bunch of fellow students/forum members (not to mention the food). It was some of, if not the best, money I've spent on training to date!!!!

Thanks again Mayer, Bruce, Beki, Randy, and Jerry for a job beyond well done!

Mickey3Gun, thank you so very much for your kind words. Linda and I had a lot of fun meeting everyone. We learned a tremendous amount and were humbled by both the quality of instuction as well as the calibre of the participants.

I hope we can do this again shortly...perhaps in the spring.

Okay, here are the pictures I took on Sunday. If anyone needs or wants bigger copies let me know, my email is in my profile for those who don't have it. I tried to get everyone, sorry if I left anyone out. The pictures are also available in the Facebook "Gray Guns" group.

Great class, great company. It is always refreshing to take a class from Bruce. He honestly believes in the information he is presenting. Bruce's only agenda in teaching is to improve the outcome for his students, not to push a product or a concept, just to help the student, whatever that takes. A first class guy with a great supporting cast. Thanks again for another great experience.

Well, I had a great time and learned a bunch. I have so many basic things to practice I may not get to the range for months...

Thanks to all involved for getting this organized.

Here are a few pics. I wish I'd had a chance to take more but I was way to busy trying to soak up all of the info provided.

the rest of the images are located: Here

I really wish I'd had my camera out when Jones emptied the open gun. The flame coming out of the compensator was impressive.

Mark, GREAT SHOT"S! I got a few to post, too. (As soon as I can grab Grace's camera away from her.) Unfortunately the battery died, so I've only got a few. I'm still waiting for Beki to send me the one's she shot.

Excellent work! (Both on and off the range!)

Hello all,

What a great class!!! I just wanted to say how deeply appreciative I am to have been able to participate in this class. It was such a pleasure to be back in San Diego!

I wanted to thank Mayer and Linda for hosting the class, Karl from GT Targets (who ensured that we had target stands to use for the class), Jerry Jones who was my travel compadre and helped me schlepp the steel and essentials to and from our Hogue Action Pistol Range to the P2K range as well as being a top notch instructor. And of course, a huge thanks to Bruce and Beki for sharing their skills and wisdom throughout the class.

I look forward to the next class!

Best to all,

Randy

I too would like to thank all that made San Diego possible, as well as the great people that participated. The class went off flawlessly, and I think everyone got what they came for and needed. That is what makes a class worthwhile for me.

Randy should be getting with Will first of the week and posting the San Luis Obisbo Practical Fundamentals class the end of February.

Mayer, got the range reserved for next Halloween yet? Wink

I know the Shawns will pony up the tuition today. A cop, evil witch, and kitty cat does that to you.
