+ 2 more for Friday night dinner, hopefully casual dress will suffice, as that is about the best I can scrounge up these days.

As an aside, is some one going to bring or can someone bring a SIG (P220 compatible) sight tool with them to our little "party"? I hope so.

I had a disturbing moment at the range last weekend. It appears that my new sight set up was not Loctite'd when it came back to me, as I thought it was suppose to have been. I practice following moving targets, but I never thought it would be my front sight Eek .......

I believe I brought mine from Ohio. If so, I will send it out Priority on Monday. Sorry I cannot do it sooner but if I did bring it then it is in storage at my in-laws.

Yikes! We'll adjust and tweak as required. I always bring tools. Please give me a ring in the meantime to make sure you are set up. Thanks! -Bruce

BG, No panic. I sent Will a chronology of the event's leading up to my discovery. You guy's, collectively, did a great job on my P-220!!!!!! The sight was a judgment call item, oh well, I/we guessed wrong. (Perfection is not for this lifetime.) But I appreciate you jumping on it "Like a duck on a June bug"! TTYS.

Linda and i are really looking foward to the class....just a few more days away.

The manager of Miguels' restaurant moved the time for our Fri night get together dinner to 7:00 pm. It will be held in their private room called Miguelitos...same address.

BTW, i just checked the weather forecast and it looks like it should be 70's and sunny.

Yes... so ready to get away from dreary Tennessee...

I actually like living here; but the weather patterns for the last few months are depressing. I would probably never make it in Seattle.

Anyway, I am less than 24 hours away from departure and am ready to go.

M3G, no it won't be necessary. Apparently, Randy has been telling me for weeks about the need for target stands, and silly me, I thought a range would have target stands for us to use. We are going to order a bunch of portables from GT Target Monday, and thus solves the problem.

Thanks for the offer, though. We will have a large time.......

Jerry - I was originally going to bring some wooden stands from my home range (I'm local) for Saturday/Sunday - will we still need these?

Brian, email coming. Please do bring extra stands, as it looks like we can make good us of them on Friday at least. Thanks! -Bruce

I'll bring 2 stands with me. 1 steel and 1 PVC. I'm only signed up for Friday's session. But if someone can drop them off in Long Beach after the classes, you can use them for the weekend. Go ahead and PM me and let me know.

Thanks! I think we'll be Ok for Sat-Sun, but Friday we might be tight for stands. See you there!

Weather forecast this weekend is sunny, clear, highs in the mid 70's on Friday, low 80's on Saturday / Sunday. Expect a little chill in the mornings.

Of course the Grayguns crew has been known to bring their own weather - weather that denies an honest forecast - so if it snows I won't be surprised Wink

Ok, folks, it's time! Beki and I are leaving for the Portland airport in a of couple hours. We can't wait to get started! I am so pleased that this class has come together so well, particularly given these tight times. It's going to be a great weekend. Get some sleep and be ready to do some very challenging shooting. We'll see you on the range!

Tang, we'll miss you as well.

Just a reminder to all, we hope to start tomorrow and Saturday at 8am, Sunday at 9am.

The group dinner is confirmed for 7pm at Miguelitos.

Get some rest. The weather looks great. Bruce, Beki, Randy and Gerry all arrived safe and sound. Should be a fun time.
