We will not be doing a bulk order as it would not really save any money at all. BUT, you can order ammo and have it drop-shipped to our host. An email was sent last week with that option if you are interested.

Some information that I will add to the original thread.
  • As of July 26, there are only two or three slots remaining in the class.
  • If you're wondering how good the class is, five of last year's students have elected to take the class again this December. We've added testimonials to the class announcement on our website.
  • We will not be doing a bulk order of ammo, as it will not save any money. You are welcome to drop-ship ammunition from your supplier to our host and he will store it for you prior to the class.

Bruce,
I don't have you on the registration list yet. Did you complete the online registration form? (At least, I do not have someone with the first name "Bruce" with the email you use here on SIG Forum registered.)

As of Sept. 12, the class is now FULL, and the waitlist has been started. If you are interested in attending, we strongly suggest you get on the waitlist by registering online. If a slot opens, we will contact those who have registered for the waitlist in the order they signed up.

Short version: HOLY COW! Holy Darned Cow!

Longer version:

OpSpec Training put on the second annual MOAC (Mother Of All Classes) at the Rio Salado Sportsman's Club from December 5th through the 9th. It was a serious five solid days of immersion in high speed marksmanship on steel.

Each day started with shooting the day's standard twice for score against the timer. Then there were drills and training through the day, followed by shooting the day's standard two more times for score against the timer. Standards were shot at 7 yards. The drills got back to 25 yards, and on Wednesday we shot at both 50 and 100 yards. Hitting steel 2/3 scale IPSC targets at 50 and 100 yards is one hell of a way to validate that the process you have learned works!

Jerry, Doug, Bruce, & Harold all pushed everyone forward. Some of the folks came to the class shooting very well, but everyone left shooting better than when they came by a significant margin. As I said in the comments at the end of class, MOAC 2015 was great, but this year was way better. Each of the instructors had a different approach to describe the concepts. If you didn't quite get it the way one instructor put it out, not to worry - another would be along shortly to convey the same information in a different fashion until you had it.

It was a great group of folks to shoot with. There was a broad range of experience and expertise, and everyone was positive and supportive of their fellow shooters.

Many thanks to our host, amhaynie for putting this together. Many thanks to OpSpec for a FANTASTIC class!

Can I get an amen!

I was thrilled to host and participate in this great high round count class. I get tons out of the trainings I have taken with OpSpec classes but this was an amazing way to cement the conceptsame being taught by beating it into us mercilessly .

Not that I was counting, but we did more than 170 in one day.
