No worries Cool

Plenty of time yet. Just keeping the pot stirred. Big Grin

I will have my 2007 TDI curriculum completed during September - but may be able to run down for a quick visit.

I am sooooo jealous. I had plans with a friend of mine (also a TDI alum) to take IV-V this fall. Over the past few years I've taken I-IV, Bowie's advanced concealed carry (twice), the two-day tactical shotgun class, and Benner's CQPC class. At the time, I was living in Lexington, KY, so it was only a two-hour drive to TDI.

Unfortunately, having relocated to CO this summer is putting a damper on attending as frequently.

I think Benner and his staff are some of the best instructors from whom I've taken classes. The facility is first-rate, and for the money one would be hard-pressed to find a better value.

I guess I'll have to content myself with the SIG Forum shoot next weekend. Wink I'm not even getting to attend the SIG armorer course in Denver in October (certification doesn't expire until next summer).

Enjoy and please give us summary of your experience there.

Ulysses - sorry you can not be with us (Southeast Ohio) as frequently as you used to be.

And be sure to say Hey from Crescendo in beautiful downtown Troy, OH when you see Ryan .

He is a great dude to deal with!

Gunny - it appears you have experienced a TDI event or two. Good going.

Also, welcome to the forum.

This sound very interesting, and was wondering if anyone can compare and contrast this class with Tactical Response's Fighting Pistol class?

TDI is a great school. The one thing I really liked was the high instructor to student ratio. We had about 20 students in the Handgun I-III course and there must have been at least 8 instructors on the range. Both John Benner and David Bowie are extremely knowledgeable and personable.

Plus, TDI is the only other shooting school that is endorsed by Thunder Ranch. There is even a link to the TDI website on the TR site.

From what all you guys have to say, this sounds like a great training organization. I'm overdue for another class within driving distance, and I think TDI will be it.
Thanks.

Great shot. Y'all look good.

Methinks I need to work on my schedule, and budget funds for a TDI class.

Thanks for posting.

Hey Brad,

I spoke with the Governor of Ohio over the weekend, and he is ready for your arrival with CCW, cigars, and whatever beer you like, as long as you are not partaking of all three at the same time. Big Grin

Call if you require assistance, otherwise I'll be looking for your call on the 19th.

Richard

Thanks Richard. I've got my maps and contact info for you ready to go. I was getting gear together last night. I need to stop inot my favorite beer store and get a few tasty ale treats for the trip. Cigars are nicely stashed in the humidor waiting to be transfered to my travel box.(the wife really won't miss that Tupperware).
See you Sunday if Mr. Benner lets me survive.
