Hello all!

Been running a little behind getting this posted, but better late than never right... Wink

We need to see when is a good time for everyone to come see the plains! I'm thinkin' either the weekend of Sept 6-7th or Sept 13-14th. I'm pretty open to either Sat or Sun. The calender for Sept is still not out yet from the Conservation Club where the shoot will be held, but I will be verifying available dates as soon as possible.

As always I'll be hitting up my SIG rep for some promo goodies... Cool

Please post what works best for you and we'll go from there... Smile

Also please feel free to post if there is a certain gun that you have been itchin' to try out, maybe there is a member who has that model and you can test drive it at the shoot.

My schedule is still fluid at this time, but Saturday's are always better for me. If I do make it, I'd like to try your 226 with suppressor. Also a P220ST if you have one, which is on my Christmas wish list. Anyone have a 50 BMG, something I've always wanted to try on for size. I can bring my M16 Commando (full auto) ...if allowed. What do you guys do for ammo, do we bring what we plan to shoot, or does everyone just share?

I'll definitely be there Ryan. As usual, my schedule is open on weekends. A friend would most likely be tagging along.

+1 on the 50BMG! Saw a few of these at the Vegas gun show and boy would I want to try to shooting it.

Alpine,

I'll bring all my cans out... Cool and I have a 220ST as well. Sorry no 50's yet... Frown

You are good to go on the M16...WOOT! As far as ammo goes we do a little sharing. If someone asks to shoot a gun that I brought I usually load up a mag for them and let them blast away. Since yours will be capable of going through quite a bit of ammo I'm sure anyone who shoots your M16 would be glad to bring some .223 with them or throw a couple of bucks your way to make things right. Its not everyday that you get to shoot full auto... Cool

Did you say you had a MSAR STG-556? I'd like to give one of those a whirl if you do.

Rotab,

Yes, the shoot is in Fort Morgan at the Morgan Game and Fish Conservation Club. Its a couple of miles west of town. The range is nothing fancy, but it works good... Smile

Earl,

Sounds like a plan!!

Your joking right? Razz

I'm sure others will oblige. If not, and I can make the shoot, I'll bring one.

Same qualifires as the glock, although with the fifty I'm not sure how motivated I'd be to bring it. But I need to ask, what the hell would we be shooting at? The range is only ~125 yrds max? Combined with the $5-$6 rounds kinda takes away from being practical, plus she's zero'd at 400 yrds. Let me think on that one for awhile.

Sweden,

What kind of .50 do you have? The far berm is 200 yds but still a far cry from 400.

Alpine,

The AUG would do just fine... Cool

Earl,

Keep an eye out here for the .50 cal/MG shoot next spring...they are a hoot!!

TAC-50. I "stole" it from some guy about 10 years ago for only.................................get this $2.5K. I sure would not have guessed that outer berm at 200. That would work as we'd only be off about 4" So who's bringing the watermelons? I'm realy thinking I'd like to trade it out a 338 Lupa Mag or 416 Barrett. It's been at least 2 years since I've brought it out anyway.

We need more responses, if Sept 7th works I'll still need to make time to get my mountain property to retrive the thing. I really don't want to see pictures of everyone else having fun. (At least this past spring I was still shooting, just not with familiar company or within my comfort zone) For those interested I was at a Pat Rogers class, you see my After Action Report, about 1/2 way down the page. I can stress how highly I recommned taking a class with EAG.

I owned one of those once... for about 2 hours. Cool I never got a chance to shoot it so I would really like the chance to try one out as well.

I'll most likely be out of the state on the weekend of 9-6/7 but I think I can swing the following weekend. Also, unless my calendar is broken, Wink it looks like the dates would be 9-13/14...that is unless we were thinking of doing a Friday shoot.

Sounds like this is shaping up to be a good shoot with all the cool firepower to check out! For those that may not have been to the Conservation Club it's a nice place to shoot and r2mach1 puts a lot of work into making this a fun and successful event. Heck of a nice guy to boot!

MDS,

Thanks for the kind words and also for pointing out my calendar mistake... Red Face

Dates were edited to read Sept 13-14th.

So far it looks like we are pretty spread out for a working date...

Keep those suggestions coming in so we can decide on the best date to get as many involved in the shoot as possible... Cool

Nothing in from the boss man yet either Confused Must be doing a little R&R... Cool

Well my birthday is the 22nd of Sept. Later in Sept would be great, but as of yet my schedule is open, but we all know what happened the last time I said that. I didn't wind up being able to make the spring shoot, one thing right after another...

Take Care, God Bless, and be safe!

Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man.”

Only brass cased non-reloaded in the M-16 (XM-177). I can't afford to have a catastrophic failure and have the lower receiver damaged.

Same rule for the AUG, and will need to limit how much it get's fired (total rounds) since it's a collectors grade preban.

Sweden
If you bring your 50 BMG, I can buy some ammo for the shoot when I come through Fort Collins or Loveland ...if available, last time I was there, I saw some Barrett Ball at a couple gun shops. Since I never shot a 50 BMG, I'm only wanting to put a couple of rounds down range.

Hey guys, I just got the CC Sept calendar this morning. The only date that is booked is Sunday Sept 21.

So if either of the last 2 weekends of the month works better thats fine by me... Smile
