One of our home ranges is in Paducah, Kentucky so we do teach here multiple times per year. We’re holding a Practical Fundamentals class in Paducah in late March 2018, when the weather should be comfortable outside.

If you have experience working from a holster, and have good gun-handling skills, you meet the pre-requisites for this class. If you've taken OpSpec Training's Intro to Practical Fundamentals, Practical Fundamentals, competed in USPSA, IDPA or 3-Gun matches or have law enforcement or military training you also meet the pre-requisites for this class.

Practical Fundamentals
Using a building-block approach, Practical Fundamentals encourages students to focus on the process of running the gun, tamping down the emotional desire to see results on the target. By using a variety of dry fire and live fire exercises, students are brought through the fundamentals of marksmanship with a focus on trigger control to help the shooter make fast hits on small targets, on demand.

Instructors*: Jerry Jones

When: March 31 - April 1, 2018 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day

Class size: Limited to 24 students, with a minimum of 12 students.

Tuition: $450, with a $225 deposit

Range Fees: TBD

Local Host: Jerry Jones

Ammunition: Round count for Practical Fundamentals will be approximately 750 - 850 rounds

Important Links and Information

* Instructors listed for specific programs have committed to teach the class on those dates. Although we do not anticipate changes, travel delays, family emergencies or illness may result in instructor substitutions.

Where:
Paducah, Kentucky
Details will be provided to students after registration.

Where to Stay
The suggested hotel is the Courtyard Marriott at 3835 Technology Drive in Paducah.

[b]Food at Lunch Break

To ensure you get the most "bang for your buck" we keep lunch breaks to one hour. If you have the ability to bring your lunch, you may do so. If you need to run out and get a quick meal, there options are available near the range.

Evil exists. You can not negotiate with, bribe or placate evil. You're not going to be able to have it sit down with Dr. Phil for an anger management session either.
