If you've done it more than once I'll assume it was worth it to you and you'd do it again—?
Any tips or advice?

Cobra- We have an excellent range in Sacramento that spans about 200 yards deep by 75 yards wide. This "bay" has hosted every GGI class from the Practical Fundamentals class to The Steel Plate courses. It was easily able to hold 18 students.

Yeager came out for a TR class and mentioned that he could hold a class with over 30 folks safely with that particular set up.

The only downside to this bay is that the shade is 200 yards downrange as well as the bathrooms.

i'm hoping to spend some time with bruce at the end of this month....we're teaching in San Diego...and get some ideas down onwhat he thinks a range should include if you're starting from scratch.

he and i have had this discussion before...mostly in connection to how ranges we've taught at could be improved...but there has never been anything written down. he might have sent me an e-mail about it once, but it disappeared into the ether

i could tell you what i remember, but i think i would be doing you a disservice as i'm not as young as i used to be. Roll Eyes

you really deserve something solid to work off of when you're building from the ground up
