To be fair, I never thought about the distributor selling to LE only. In this case, that is what happened. It would have been nice to know on the front end, but there was no mention of such prior to the auction. I would never bid on something that a vendor could not deliver without breaking a contract. Now I am even happier I brought it up. Until the LE only angle was raised, I never considered it. It was not until Lancer raised the issue that I checked on the Glock angle.

I am sorry if I created confusion about the distributor. He could have communicated a lot better, but I would never imply that he welched on a deal unless that was what I was lead to believe. In no way does it change my feelings about what the Sig Rep did. In my mind, it was a very nice thing to do.

That is an awesome story, being retired LE I can see that the distributor might have restrictions to sell or offer it to LE only depending on Glock or even the state the auction was in. At the time of the auction it should have been clearly spelled out what the restrictions were. With that said Sig stepped up and you have in my opinion a much better sidearm. Kudos to Sig
