I've had a early sig 229 AB prefix serial# for quite some time it's in DAO, Frame German, slide Exhester NH. (Legacy slide)
I have been thinking of adding either a 229 legion or an M11 A1 chambered in 9mm. Shot a 229 legion this AM and wow! Very nice

It will most likely fit as long as you use the locking insert from the AB as well.

Are you sure it's a W German frame 229?

Well since the Berlin Wall fell in 1989 and P229's weren't made until 1992, I think he means he has a German frame.
