I’ve had this pistol for a while. For carry, the trigger is a bit light for my taste. And there is no distinct “wall” before the shot breaks.
I’d like a heavier trigger (wow, did I just type that?) or at least a distinct wall to prep the trigger against.
Anybody else?
Anything out there?

It's like a smooth DA revolver to me. No stack point or heavier trigger needed.

My wife carries one and she loves the trigger.

I carry the original DAO version. I've tossed the idea around about getting the "updated and improved" model, but the thing is just too perfect a carry pistol to be dispensed with.

Fantastic pistol. Wish they still made them, but I reckon the DAO's can be had and maybe pretty cheaply, too? Try one.

Accurate, too:

If you have a trigger pull gauge, you could measure the force and see if it is within specs (if specs are available). And have you shot it, and every round goes off, no light strikes, all the primers dented? Sometimes a slide can be just a gnat's whisker out of battery, but not enough to activate the disconnector, so the trigger can still be pulled, but you would get light primer strikes and misfires.

Traded mine for the same reason. Trigger was "to nice" for my liking.

Egregore:
No trigger pull gauge, no idea what the specs are s’posed to be...
Yes, I have shot it. Several mags went through it just yesterday.
100% reliable with a wide selection of ammo.

My issue is NOT with the gun going bang, it’s with the trigger weight (lack thereof, actually). Even my revolvers can be staged to an extent....cylinder rotated with a DA pull, then a bit more pressure to break the shot.

Get an old DAO model. I'm not kidding. I think you will like it. It's not so "hard", it is just long but very smooth and controllable.

I may have to look into that, 3/4 Flap....
I like the little gun...size, weight, accuracy....
I just think the trigger is a bit easy for a carry gun.

I felt the same way with mine, even with the safety. It is much better than other Ruger models of the past but I can understand in the heat of the moment it might be too light.
