jcsabolt2Question - Dan Wesson Models
Quick...is there any real difference in quality between Dan Wesson Valor or Specialist? Have an opportunity for a quick buy!

Brian87No, same quality..Valor maybe more hand fitted, but parts, finish the same...I think specialist

RogueJSKNot between those two models.
There may be a minor bit of difference in final fit/finishing between the higher end DWs and the less expensive "entry level" models (A2, Vigil, etc.).

TheFrontRangeAs you may know, the Valor line has been discontinued by DW - if seeing a nice deal on a good example of a Valor, that might be an influencer.
Enjoy whichever you select, either would be a fine 1911.
Edited to add: be sure to post pics of your choice!

And a magwell.
And different grips.

pedropcolaI have two Valors. They are outstanding examples of 1911dom. I would buy either with no regret.
