Sounds like they're updating the 9mm and 40 to match the features that the .45 has had from the start.

Not too surprising. I'd like to see them make a bigger thumb safety if they are going to do it. The current one works fine mind you and I never missed but I'd like one big enough to ride. Or atleast the option.

Maybe time to get a 1.0 if the prices go even lower. Apex does a body good!

Not really something I need to replace, since I have a 1.0. Selling it would be at a loss since they are so cheap...currently.

I don't know if the 2.0 improvements are nearly as significant in the Shield as they were in the larger M&Ps. But if I was going to buy a new one after the 2.0s came out, I'd probably go with it.

I wonder if they'll change the baseplate on the extended magazines like they did on the .45, that spacer just floating there was kind of cheesy on the 9mm.

Sigh, love the new 2.0 compact and it might be time to finally get a Shield. The sigh was for more money being spent lol

I'm more than satisfied with my 1.0 Shield. In MA we got stuck with the 10# trigger, really 12#. So, in with the Apex carry kit. Then on with the Hogue beavertail Hogue rubber HandAll grip and the gun is amazing. So good I bought a second one.

Great carry gun.

Do you suppose they will also come out with a Performance Center version?

Got an email from one of my distributors saying shield 2.0s are in stock now so should start seeing them on LGS shelves shortly I'm sure.

They didn't show a SKU for performance center ones but I'm sure they're coming someday

I'm interested after recently buying an M&P 2.0 compact. Love the grip.

Hard to pass up the PPS M2 LE for $319 shipped though.
