in black DLC. I know, purists will poo poo it, but that's fine. Totally understandable. Me? Why not? Same old same old is sometimes boring. That's why the Midnight, and now the Skeleton. Obviously, this one is not polished like the Midnight. Just regular black DLC. You can see where they take off the metal (slide, dust cover, trigger guard, trigger, and hammer), and this reduce the weight by 1.2 oz compared to the non-skeleton one (42.7 oz vs 43.9 oz). I like the trigger, straight top with flared out bottom, so there will be no slipping. The trigger pull itself comes in at 3 lbs 2 oz (average of 5 pulls), same as the Midnight's trigger. But the Midnight's trigger is truly fantastic, very smooth 1st stage with zero creep break like glass rod. The Skeleton's is slightly gritty 1st stage and a detectable tiny creep before the sear breaks. Hopefully, it will smooth out with shooting. Enjoy the pics.
*** 12/29/19 RANGE REPORT: ***
Ammo: Geco 124 FMJ (150 rds)
Distance: 25 yds
Position: Benched (grip butt resting on platform)
Malfunctions: One light strike that went bang on second try. Gun is very tight, so, initially, there were 4 failures to completely return to battery in the first 3 mags. But, everything went smoothly afterward.
Comments: Despite the tiny trigger creep felt, as mentioned above, it did not really detract from my shooting, as the accuracy is outstanding, imo. The 1st target (T target) had 6 shots land in a single spot, but with 2 strays that spread the measurement to 1 inch. Btw, my new prescription shooting glasses greatly helped. Overall a great range day.

Wow, what a nice gun. How lucky you are. Can’t wait for an in depth range report.

I have absolutely no use for such impractical, pointless nonsense; therefore I must have one.

I have never won one of your generous karma’s and I do t typically enter but put me down as unlucky number 1 for that stainless one.
When I read your post and how you said many wouldn’t like it I was half expecting some skeleton/day of the dead engraving or some such and was prepared to go full “No sir, I don’t like it.” What was actually shown is pretty damn gorgeous. Enjoy it in good health.

Damn Q, You just don't give up. Nice pistols you have acquired lately. I've been wanting a P210.
Beautiful pistol, Q! Nice wooden grips, too!
You are a connoisseur of fine pistols.

Yeah not for me. This is the stuff Sig does that makes it hard for me to take them seriously. I think they have the best engineering and new product folks out there, but their marketing people like to make stupid editions of everything and make me think they don’t make serious guns.
You can’t be clowns and then ask me to take you seriously. I carry the 365 and love it, but these kind of things make me not admit in public I like it and my MCX’s. It’s like if Ferrari made rainbow finished mowpeds too.
I'm confused...wait, maybe I'm not.
Thanks for the interesting report, Q! Neat pistol.
Personally, I’m not a fan of skeletons – too many nooks and crannies to clean. Even the useless front slide serrations of my P226 X5 Comp annoy me for that reason.
Look about you.
Umm, are you familiar with Ferrari?
BTW, I’m not a fan of some of the bling-tastic later X5s. However, this skeleton P210 is sexy. I want one in stainless.
Damn cool pistol!!! congratulations.
Would like one as bad as an early 1960's Ferrari vineyard tractor.
Almost too good looking to be a 210. If it shoots as good as it looks (or as the test target shows) it's gonna be MONEY:-)
PS, never applied for a 121 Karma as I don't need it, but really appreciate your doing so.
That’s a beauty. I hope you shoot it and post pics of the targets.
She's a beaut, Clark.
