I have 2 old P220's, 1 from 1995 and the hammer drop was pretty loose. It worked just fine but felt sloppy. I got 2 P-shims from Bumper and put 1 in each pistol. The real loose one felt good again, the other a P220 ST felt new again.
It took me nearly 10 minutes to do both.
