+1 for Summit Gun Broker. I check his website religiously.

I've bought a couple of police trade-in guns from Mark over the years, including a P220R that did not appear to have been fired at all.

Check www.topgunsupply.com they might have some. I don't know for sure since I have not checked their sight lately. Might also add they are super to do business with.

Now that is a heck of a deal. Just under $400 for a 9mm P226 with night sights and 3 magazines.

The Gander Mountain stores around my area have a ton of P226's in varying conditions. Prices vary from $439.99 up to $550 or so pending how nice/new the weapon is. My friend picked one up for $520 out the door and it was near-new inside and out and the night sights were good, and had 3 nice condition magazines.

Some great deals can be found on these police trade-ins. I got a new, unissued S&W 4006 for $425.

Hi Coronel. If you know someone on the police force locally, you might be able to purchase directly from them. I just bought a SIG 229 in .40 cal with the original case, 3 LE Hi-Capacity mags, a Safariland holster and an extra recoil spring for $375.
I generally buy Colt's but couldn't pass this one up.
Good luck!!!

X2 on the Summit Gunbroker I picked up a police trade in P228 awhile back and he was excellent to deal with. The inside was pretty grimed up but from the looks of the rails it hadnt been shot much.

+3 on Mark at Summitgunbroker. My first Sig, a 226 was one of his PD trade-ins. He has some excellent guns on his website.

I bought from mark before with no issues but a friends 5906 had hammer follow. Guess it just flew under the radar during inspection.
