Folks,
I am going to buy 1 nice engraved colt saa or similar gun this year.

I know the gun will be from 5 to 12,00 or more.
I guess it is a bucket list item for me to check off.

I am right with god, right with my family,so my conscience is crystal clear to own a rare gem.

I guess because of my age,i have always loved the guns engraved by angelo bee,J baerten for browning, john adams, and a few master class engravers.

If you were going to buy a gun, which engraver is the most appealing to you???

I know thre are different style's,and coverage of pistols, but which engraved gun would really float your boat??

I just watched him this morning on "A Craftsman's Legacy" on PBS. Very impressive.

Timely post, just thinking about this today as well. I have a couple pistols I would like to have engraved. I seen Jim Downing's work many times and it seems good and his pricing is pretty straight forward as well.

If your budget minded and don't mind laser engraving, EMF sells some nice laser engraved SAA copies. Here's a link to their website.
