Interesting, however, one doesn't always have the options presented the way they always want them in a SD/HD situation.

As to the "caliber debate" being raised again, the father of one of my roommates while in the Army was shot and killed bu a "little .22" that was discharged outside the house. The bullet went through the siding of the trailer he was visiting (holiday cookout at a friends) and entered his heart.

Any projectile has the potential to kill. The variables involved are many to be sure, but that potential is ALWAYS something I keep in mind.

Well said..
forget the caliber debate.
learn to shoot what you have with accuracy.
As someone who has taken care of many gunshot victims I can honestly say one well-placed shot kills quite nicely....irrespective of caliber.

Cool gun. How would you rate the recoil on the .32 vs a similar blowback action in .380?

Much, much softer.
Using magtech 71 gr fmj It was only a little sharper than the 22 conversion on my 226.
Really.
I was shocked how little the recoil was.
I tried some corbon too and it ate it with minimal increases in recoil.
Gotta say this may be my summer toy. Love my p7 since it is flat and 9mm but this may have to share duty.

A dealer had a number of these for sale several years ago for about 300 a pop. This was the story he had on these guns. Didn't buy one because of the availability of mags.

IIRC, CDNN Investments or somebody in SGN sold these as Japanese Police overruns.

as for personal protection, one of my buddies put down a 6'2" 290 thug with a .25 Beretta after the thug tried to carjack him at the Sandy Springs Ga. Wal-Mart. thugs Highpoint .45 failed to fire. all point blank range.
