Curious how you know that, given that there is no "gen 2."

Those who continue to have and report these problems are clearly troublemakers, liars, and have a vivid imagination, as Sig (et al) is quick to tell us. These things just don't happen. They're incredibly rare. It's just a cosmic coincidence that so many keep happening, with first-hand reports, to posters here on this site. What are the odds that the infinitesimally small fraction of the owners who experience problems...are all here? It's a sign of some kind. That's what it is.

We're assured that these things only happen to someone, somewhere, unsubstantiated internet rumors that get parroted and repeated...never first hand accounts...like we have here. This just can't be.

Yeah. if the design of the TR anchor point is faulty here, I don’t know how Sig can solve the issue.

Ok, it's what many people are referring to as a "gen2". It has the relief cuts, full night sights and the right build date. Not sure why your attitude is directed at me, as I'm just a new poster discussing a new gun, but if it makes you feel better............

Well once the SIG-haters surrender, it'll be all good. Glock fanbois are the cause of this ruckus, we know without a doubt.

Humor aside, I'd love to own and carry a P365. I just can't do it yet. BTDT with the P290RS and P320.

I do not believe that sns3guppy's comments were directed towards you but were made tongue in cheek.

Just gut mine and shot it twice. I receive a IWB holster from Doug at Bear Creek. My 5th and favorite for small pistols. I have a Kahr PM9 that will get a rest.

So far zero issues on my 07/10/18 P365 and after 350rds down range. First 300, SIG FMJ 115gr and last 50, Hornady 124gr XTP.

My plan is to run 200 more of the SIG ammo and 50 more XTP and call it GTG and add the P365 to my carry group. Zero hiccups and I'll consider it proof of .... life saving

Each to their own, I to myself.

For the last time:
Gen 1, just came out
Gen 2, cut slide and barrel relief
Gen 3, different night sights
Gen 4, corrected that very small batch of bad strikers
Gen 5, corrected short trigger springs
Gen 6, will be the version with a safety
Gen 7, we're waiting for the 2 inch beaver tail
I hope this clears up some of the generational confusion.

Yup
Actually, its the mag plates that are the culprit
Some 600 grit and time took care of it, did touch the frame a bit to round off a leetle

Ordered a couple 12 rounders and shit the gap between frame bottom and mag plate kinda sucks?

Just curious...did you get this info straight from Sig? If not where did you get it?

He’s just making it up as he types. When SIG designates a ‘Gen 2’ it will begin to exist. Until then they are just tweaks.
A Remington 700 has been a Remington 700 since 1962, despite various bolt handles, sights, stock finishes, triggers, sear designs within the trigger, shape of safety, and many more subtle changes or fixes.

I've learned to always post /sarc when I sarcasm.

When I don't people think I'm serious, an asshole, or both.

Gen 8, Titanium color scheme with diamond plate option.
Gen 9 P365 Legion
Gen 10 P365 in FDE, Pink, Grey variants.
Gen 11 - Promised alternative frames and caliber conversion kits which either never materialize or cost more than buying a new pistol.
