Pistol, 5 zipperback [Correction: Dovetail] Mags with custom Mag base plates and original ones too, xtra guide rod, 225 parts kit in bag, no manual or test target however, original grips in its box.

update: I like the grip where there is room for 3 fingers on the grip and it feeds hollow points and full metal jacketed well. Comfortable in a Galco shoulder holster w 2 mags. Really this is a nicely thought- out gun.

On Sigs, for a light gun that has been a classic forever, these are favorites as I have had several but never one as nice as this.

Damn - nice score! She's a beauty. Too bad BDavis isn't producing his fabulous baseplates any more.

Siles grips, those aren't exactly common, either. Very nice!

I thought P225 mags were dovetail, not zipper back, no?

I have been working very hard so am taking today off to do things I enjoy and will be cleaning it and shooting. The seller said he bought it from the original owner who apparently deployed overseas about 15 years ago. The seller said he had it in his own safe 15 years and never fired it that he recalls.

I will take some more photos amd add them to the album later today.

I'm guessing the original were checkered black plastic (look at the new photos, there's a bag with them in it), but Siles were the original factory wood grips way back, I believe.

SIG sold guns with KN Nills on some more limited models like X guns, but I'm pretty sure back in the day, Siles made their wood grips.

Edit:
And yes, those are dovetail mags.

The factory plastic grips were taken off snd are in a bag. I do not have enough knowledge about wood grips but others here can help us.

Got the last pair of Sig factory P-225 wood grips, look the same as the Sile grips pictured. With everything included great deal on an excellent pistol.

Believe we came to understand from our friend OTD in .ch that these grips are not Sile but rather Morini Competition aka "Swiss Police Walnut"

A number of years ago I started corresponding with a gripmaker from one of the Eastern European countries. His name was Peter Foldynova. I supplied him with OE grips on which he could base his design. In turn I'd get a set of those grips gratis. Here is a set he made for the/my P225...
