wanted to know if the Gen 2 Sig MPX barrels are interchangeable with Gen 1...saw a few Sig vids on line but they didn't address this, all they said was Sig was gonna continue to support Gen 1 barrels, but didn't say that Gen 2 Wouldn't fit ?? so ??

I found out Gen 2 barrels are not backwards compatible

yep. IIRC, when SIG announced the gen 2, they told everyone that when the caliber exchanges and barrel length changes came out, they'd sell the gen 1 owners a complete gen 2 upper for the same price as a gen 2 barrel exchange to make up for the lack of backward compatibility.
