I've used Cajun for my 75 and my sp01. VERY happy with the work performed.

I was quoted 10 weeks from CZCustom, BUT, about a week later I just got an email from them today saying that the pistol is finished and they're going to ship it. I was fully expecting a lot longer time frame. I can't wait to see it and shoot it.....

My FFL will recieve the gun on Wednesday. I can't believe they got it done so fast. Here's a pic of the test target. Looks like it will be a great range gun!!!!

Well, I have been emailing both CZcustom and CGW and came to a conclusion. CGW didn't have a CZ75 matte S/S in stock and said they were difficult to find. Both companies told me that if I bought a NIB one from Gunbroker they'd prefer I took delivery first, inspected it, shot it, and then shipped it to them (which is understandable). But came to the conclusion that buying one from gunbroker, recieving it at a FFL, then re-shipping it to one of them, and then waiting for it to be done and shipped back was more of a hassle.

However, CZ custom does have a new factory cz 75 matte S/S in stock, so they agreed to do their magic on it and turn it into their custom (sku: 96181) for me, and I added green for the F/O front site and converting it to SAO (Single action only). 10 week lead time..........

I own many different guns including a Wilson and a Brown, but it's the first one I've had built/worked to my specs. I'm very excited.

This one:

I have a matte stainless one, well broken in now. Have a straight trigger and newer trigger return spring that will install when I know my range will be open. No rail on the matte stainless. Put on fiber optic sights
don’t tell anyone but prefer it to may TACOPS 226.

Sounds like mine except for the straight trigger. CGW installed the fiber optic sights and I had to install one of their trigger return springs when my factory spring broke. I love it. I always carry it in the motorcycle.

Thanks, it’s one of my favorite pistols. The polished stainless is too blingy but this matte is great.

The gun came in today. The trigger is really nice on it (for a non 1911), it has just a little take up and then a clean break of 3.5 lbs. Much better than most production 1911 triggers I've felt The guys at the gun shop all really liked it. Odd thing is the barrel, frame and slide all have the serial number stamped on them, which is a touch ugly and I've never seen a triple serial numbered CZ. My CZ75B SA only has a serial number on the frame. I'll take it to the range next week.

Now you just gotta go and shoot the living daylights out of it! Congrats on your new gem.

Photoman, who's band are you using on your Nav A-T? Looks kinda gnarly. I like it.

My P-01 & stainless 75 both have triple serial numbers.

I got my P-01 back from Cajun Gun Works a few days ago. They were working on extraction issues for me and upgraded all the Pro Package parts to the latest versions free of charge. It's really a hell of a shooter.

I've also got a full Kadet .22LR that is really nice to have.

I would guess that your CZ75B SA is the oddball.

Of my CZ pistols, the 97B, P10C, P-01, 75C, 75B, P07 and Shadow 2 all are triple serial numbered
The only exceptions I have are the milsurp 82 which is only numbered on the barrel and slide (not the frame) and only the barrel and frame on the EVO pistol since there is no slide.
Even the Kadet and P07 22 conversion kits have the slide and barrel numbered.

I think CZ normally does the triple numbers in order to comply with regulations in various global markets.

I think it's an age thing. Mine's over 10 years old. Perhaps sometime they started adding the serial numbers.

I doubt it's an age thing, mine date from 1989 to 2019.

So I picked up the gun yesterday, after a long day at work, and shot it in their range. The gun is beautiful, has a great trigger and has great balance and ergonomics. The grips are very aggressive but I like them. The trigger is great and gun shoots great. I took my browning buckmark standard, Colt Competition 9mm 1911, and S+W bodyguard .380.. The gun shot great, accurate (better than me), trigger is great, and I shot everything at 7 yards. It's a better shooter than the colt competition that I really like.

I'll post pictures of the target and gun this weekend when I get a chance.
