Local gun store had Smith & Wesson Day-- Smith reps came down, sale prices (yes -really good pricing). I've been looking at 3 " 686--compared to Ruger SP101 which has great reviews.

The 986PC is sweet. I wish it had a steel cylinder but the titanium will do for now. Here is the 986 with its older brother the 627PC
