Not the answer you're looking for, but have you considered the factory 21 round mags? They can be had for less than what that extension costs (the whole mag) and they fit.

$34.99 from Osage

I just use the factory 21 rounders, but on Taran’s website it says compatible with the x5

Yes they fit with the magwell, but without the Grams follower you’ll only get 20 in the mag, maybe 21 rather than the +5.

I have these and Henning Groups extensions and I personally like the Henning better.

If you only want 21rds, the best option for cost and reliability is the Sig factory 21 round mags.

He's the OEM on the Legion P320 base pads and does the grips and basepads on the new Dan Wesson DWX pistols.

I would get these ^^^
Free Ship if you break $100 as well.
I have 4 inbound.

Supposedly Henning Group makes the Legion base plates for SIG.
Midwest Gun Works is the best place for those if you have those no-fit-X5 17 rounders like I did.
The Legion base plate fixes the problem.

I'll pay attention when it's been on the market long enough for independent testing and positive reports.
