I had ordered a sig range bag on Monday and the cs rep said they have been on backorder for awhile but they expect a large shipment in soon. The shipment might not be able to cover whats on order, so it might be awhile she told me. I received it today!! Pretty fast. Just opened it and I will load her up tomm. There are 2 bags inside the bag. One is really small and has a draw string looks like intended for valuables (watch, phone, wallet) while you shoot. Not sure but similiar to what I use in my golf bag for valuables. The other bag not sure. I am just glad to have a range bag for all my stuff.

Sounds nice! Maybe I'm just a nostalgic surplus guy but I still don't think anything beats a SAW ammo can for a trip to the range.

It's a great range bag. Managed to fit 8 handguns, 14 loaded mags, tools, 1000 rounds of ammo, cans of CLP /remoil...

Heavy, but it worked.

Nice quote - and very nice deal on the range bag. Although I'm a surplus person myself. Part of it is nostalgia, part of it is "I just want to be different".

+1 on the brass bag, or for some, ammo bag. Works great for reloaders. I have a few from I- Shot.

I love my Sig range bag. As you said, i've managed to load it to capacity with 4 guns, dozens of magazines and about a 1,000 rounds of ammo. It's awefully heavy but having it all in one sturdy location makes it nice.

I have the Sig competition bag. Great bag. I even carry my spotting scope and stand in it. It has a lot of room in it. Now I want to get the smaller range bag for when I don't want or need to take everything thats in the Sig competition bag.

+1 on Sig Sauer range bags

I have the large Sig Range Bag and never use it, with the usual suspect range guns + ammo it's a bit too much since I suffered a stroke. Like new, anybody interested PM me and I'll throw it over in the classifieds. I now use a Winchester range bag with a retractable handle and wheels Wink

I have the smaller range bag. 2 gun rugs, velcro dividers, outside pocket and outer zippered pouch. I think it's great especially when I don want the gun box. It holds lots of ammo and mags for three guns (Without going crazy @ 8 boxes or so) as well as 2 sets of muffs and glasses plus extras. Nice size and haven't wanted for room.

I finally got mine this week after being on back order for 3 months. It's a great bag and I'm sure it will serve me well.

When I go to the range I usually take 4 guns, ammo for the 4, 2 mags for each and ear protection. I also take sticky targets with the yellow backing under the black taget to stick on the range provided targets.

I have seperate large coffee cans for the brass and they don't go in the bag.

No, but the guys who I go to the range with help. Not a bad deal for them. Basically just open up my M4 range bag (it holds 4 more handguns), and lay everything out at the last stall. All I ask, is reload any mags you empty.

If I go solo, I usually just take my AR-15 in a rifle bag and stuff a few handguns in there.
