Here they are 220SAO owners or soon to be owners.

That’s right, here by popular demand, Hogue is proud to announce the arrival of its newest grip line. Sig 220SAO.

These grips are scheduled to start production next week. If you are interested, get your orders in soon to beat the rush. These will be available in ALL colors, smooth and checkered and Yes, G10 also. Rubber grips are not available at this time for this model.

These grips are pretty much identical to the standard 220 as far as size, shape and thickness thinnessSmile

Those that contacted me with your names an contact numbers for the "Wish List" you will be getting an email announcing the start of production and if you are interested you will then need to call in your order. Our web master is working to update our web store for these part numbers, should be completed by 8-26-09. Photos of all colors will be posted at a latter date.

But for now here they are;

Ken, I know they are a low volume gun, but I would love a set of Extreme G10s for the P226 SAO (X-Five models). I think others with these high dollar guns would buy them as well.

Ken,

I'm curious as to how the gun with your new grips looks with a magazine inserted. I'm just wondering how the magazine floor plate would look with the contour of your grips at the bottom. Can we get some numbers as to how wide, thick, or thin these are?

Edit: I'm more curious about the G10 grip panels.

Thank you,
DBAR

What does the G10 "P/N 21120 SIG Sauer P220 SAO American Flames Aluminum - Black Anodized" model look like? I can't find any pictures on the site.

Armed Infidel;

The number you posted is for aluminum and not G10. (Your posting was kind of confusing) As of this moment I do not have a Flames 220SAO to shot. The flame pattern will be vary similar to our other Sig models that we do have picture for on the web store.

DBAR;
Guess I bumped my head and didn't have the mag. in when I photographed these shot. I try to remember to do that tomorrow. I will also check, maybe the first run has come back from anodizing and I will use one of them.....G10 and Aluminum are the same

Is there a Pic of the G-10, checkered, black?

Are they thinner than the factory grips?

Thanks

The P220 SAO G10 is noticeably thinner for me. The grip is not as wide (front to back) on the bottom of the grip, which feels comfortable. The checkering is aggressive, but not uncomfortable. I really really like the grip. It is comfortable and secure.

I also have the smooth grip. I'm saving that for later.

I'll try to find time to take and post a pic. Smile
