I have been on the hunt for a Springfield TRP in .38 Super for some time. I finally found one for sale.

Are there any quirks with the TRP? Any good, bad or ugly?

I have never owned a Springfield Armory, but have shot a couple of them chamber in .45 acp. Not TRP's, but I was pleased with each one I shot.

Don't know anything about the 38 super TRP, but my .45 TRP is my favorite.

I suppose I could buy a more expensive 1911 but the TRP is already more accurate than I am

Never heard of a TRP in 38 super. But my TRP in 45ACP has been out standing!! I would think you will be very pleased with it!
