Sig's without rails!

You are correct sir, not a single railed Sig in my collection! Razz

I screwed my collection up when I bought the Mosquito and SigPro, so I have 2 with rails. I've even passed up smokin' deals on some sigs locally, but they had rails.

When I dream of Sigs, your collection is the only thing I think about. I tried looking for an old thread that had a "fraction" of your collection in safes. It gives me warm fuzzies inside. Like climbing the rope in gym class.

That old thread is long gone, I am not comfortable posting pics of the contents of my safes as I did before.

I don't blame you one bit. But you sir are truly a Connoisseur and set the bar high. I appreciate the contributions you've made to the forum and consider myself very lucky to have gotten a glimpse.

Besides a P210, the only Sig of interest is a P220 X-Six.

All good questions. I caught the Signess in July when my wife and I bought two Sigpro 2022's and now we are up the creek without a paddle! Since then I found:
P229 DAK- .357/40
West German P220 -.45
P229 DA/SA .40/.357
(2)West German P228's 9mm
P226 - .40
P239 - .40
Coming in tomorrow a P-6

So Right now I'm in pretty good shape but my wife and I would gladly take in any nice 225 or 245 looking for a new home.

I have plenty of SIGs but want/need one more. With all this SAS Gen II talk, I gots to have one. Since I have two 229s in 40/357 that SAS will be a sweet shootin' 9mm. Bill

I'm caught up in the new P228 craze, but also appreciate the SP2022, so my list is (in no particular order):

P228 SAS-frame
P228R
SP2022 .40 S&W
SP2022 9 mm

I'm in a one purchase every 30 days state, so my order preference is the order in which the supplies of these guns is likely to run out.

Do any retailers/distributors have a guess as to which of these guns is most likely to run out within the next 30 days and which ones are likely to last the longest?

Argolfer, Until you get yours. Good Luck.It is my favorite looking Sig also one of my best shooting pistols. Does Sig have a few of these available again? It seems I have seen some new ones around lately.

Hmmm ... I wouldn't mind adding a P220 X-Six, and also a P226 X-Five Short & Smart. I'd also like to eventually acquire a P226 SL Black (an all-stainless and rail-less, P226 with a Black Ilaflon finish) from SIG-Eckernförde.

And now, since the ol' budget won't allow me to buy these awesome weapons just yet, here are the obligatory pictures to drool over ... a man can still dream, can't he? Big Grin

P226 X-Five Short & Smart

Sig? Probably a X-5 Competition. If I hit the lottery, a P210 or two, or ten.

I got a German P220.. its ok, but just doesnt do it for me. I'd rather shoot or carry my Dan Wesson CBOB or CCO.

I would like to try a P245 though, and every man needs a P228.

So I would say a X-5 Comp, P228, P245.

I tried to cover all my Sigs that I wanted before they began going all rail. I am good with my 220 in .45, 229 TT in .40 with a .357 barrel, 226 Navy, and 228 TT GOTM.

Only thing I may ever want (slight chance) would be a X-Five model of some sort or a 220ST. I have grown fond of other makes though since my Sig collection halted. Cough *HK* cough Big Grin

I just got the new Front Sight and they reviewed the USPSA Sig 226. It intrigues me. Probably can't afford it now. But maybe soon.
