Mine is a G 391 xxx and it's a P220 Super Match. The previous owner was given the pistol as a gift. It came w/a plaque from the Custom Shop.

This might be the reason the SN does not really match up w/ the list on the first page.

What a wonderful gift!

Though you may want to have a chat with whomever it is on "you're staff" that's responsible for proofreading. Wink

I have P220R SN# G4118XX. It has a DE date code above the number, not up front like German guns should have. It's marked, frame made in Germany unlike its mates that are all full German and all within your 2004 ranges. This # should be 2008 range. It's possible that it's a replacement to the Sheriff's Department that owned it.

"DE" is not a date code. It's abbreviation for DEutschland, meaning Germany. Wink
Your P220 has German made frame, obviously. Everything else is made in the US. The gun was assembled here at SIG USA.
