recently purchased (used) P229 Elite in dark Earth 900 with serial number prefix of AHU. Other than montion of this prefix by 12131, I know little about this pistol other than it has a short reset trigger, forward slide serrations and Hogue plastic camo grips.

recently purchased p220 triple german serial numbered . Made in Germany, imported by pw arms Redmond wa
G526xxx , 2014 , german manual , in box, one of the rare release, 2012 BC german proof

From what I have found "in 2014, SIG’s German manufacturing facility surprised many by releasing a small batch of true “Made in Germany” SIG P220 pistols, with the classic folded carbon slide and pinned breech block — but with modern German proof marks on the slide and barrel.
Nobody knows whether these parts had been in storage in Germany for more than a decade and finally assembled and proofed, or whether the German gunmakers fired up the old equipment in 2012 for a last hurrah before all manufacturing moved to the US once and for all. Either way, a few lucky buyers got their hands on a modern example of a classic German SIG that was manufactured, assembled, and proofed in Germany… and fully deserving of its “Made in Germany” stamping." WOW!! Thank you kind sir for your efforts. I know it is very time consuming.
This is going to give me many days fun. There are now just a few gaps of 1000-2000 to study and ponder over.

New to the forum.

Also, I'm looking for further information on P225s built in 1994 and if anyone has a way to accurately identify if it made before or after Sept. 15 of that year. Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask.

Thanks,
B

Welcome to you also BJ. On your '94 P225, start on page one of this Serial sticky for a couple of listings. I you still want more, then post the same question in "SIG Pistols" and you'll find a bunch of very knowledgeable people who don't check in here often

It would also be nice if you mentioned my name regarding the GOTM list. Wink
