I posted a couple of weeks ago about picking up an M18. I asked about getting compact-sized mags for it and received several helpful responses. The mags, from Academy Sports, arrived quickly and are great. Unfortunately, I ordered a compact grip module from a place called Lancaster Tactical and it looks like I have been scammed. I should have Googled them first as there is ample evidence available that they at least appear to be scammers.

That said, I am going to order a compact module from SIG, but it will be black and will not have the safety cut out. SIG does not appear to have any FDE or coyote compact modules available Does anyone know of a reputable shop that does this kind of work? I understand it’s a small job so there may not be a whole bunch of places out there.

The Cerakote website has a way to search for certified application shops. Click on Find Applicator.

The applicator shop you choose may not be familiar with Sig P320s. You may need to cut/modify the frame for the safety first. Use a file or Dremel then test it and make sure everything is working properly.

Gents - Thank you very much - I just ordered a module. And, thank you for offering the Cerakote help. I was getting pretty frustrated with the whole process since I had to do a fraud claim against Lancaster Tactical. And, the prospect of having to manually cut the safety slots was worrisome since I can’t draw a straight line with a ruler ! If the new FCU’s, low end, come out around $200-ish then I am definitely going to order one. I will post a pitcher once I have got it all set up.
